Voting: Over five stages - April 20, 22, 26 and May 5 and 10 - because of logistics and need to deploy security personnel. Voting is not compulsory. Soundarya dies in a plane crash (Cine South)
Actress Soundarya made her debut in the Tamil film industry with Karthik in the film "Ponnumani". She got married recently. During this years election she had agreed to campaign for BJP. Yesterday she had campaigned for the B.J.P candidate Ashwath Narayan. As part of the campaign tour she was going to Andhra Pradesh from Bangalore. Her brother accompanied her.
